It's just 3 days passed, but many things happened during this time. Lets just briefly talk about the whole event.

26th Feb:
The first day of the 'supposed' class chalet. Some of us were suppose to meet up earlier to gather some stuff for the chalet i didn't managed to get it online earlier on. However I guess not everything will go smoothly all the time, and the first hiccup was everyone couldn't meet up at the decided time, and agreed to come at another time. Well, finally some of us still managed to meet up earlier to head over to Fairprice to get the stuff we needed before heading over to downtown east.

After getting all the stuff, we went to the bus terminal to wait for the bus to get us there since our hands are full carrying the stuff and will be quite troublesome to just carry and walk there. When we reached, I checked in and got the room at F block 1627 room~! Meanwhile we rested in the room while waiting for the rest to make their way there. Also, we went out to collect the bbq stuff i ordered the other day online for tonight's bbq... It was around evening time when we decided to get out of our comfort zone and started our bbq night. And just as we were trying to get the fire started, the rest of the peeps came over and joined in the fun. Although only 15 people came, and i hoped that more people and even lecturers should have come and joined the bbq night with us, i guess its not that attractive and those the negative response from what I expected. And plus some of them decided to make some last minute changes by not coming, I had alot of financial problems as the chalet was paid by my mum initially and was suppose to collect the money from everyone before paying back to her. I didn't wanted to involve my parents but i didn't have enough money at that point of time, so more money problems carried on throughout the night. Well, i guess all the bad stuff shouldn't be said too much.

After the BBQ was over, everyone was back to that cosy room and playing cards with Big2 & blackjack!! And as I was preparing for the next day as I had a test tomorrow to get ready for, thus I was the first to sleep and I was the only one sleeping on the cold hard floor while the rest either get the comfy bed of the side mattress!!

27th Feb:

After a tiring night yesterday, everyone slept till about noon before getting up. Some of them woke up as early as 6 in the morning and left, as they had work or other reasons. I woke up around 11, and anytime before that, I was sleeping soundly that even a bomb would not wake me up!! After that, the few of us wanted to head out to the swimming pool for a swim, but we didn't had the right swimwear to swim, so we decided to instead head out to the beach. And as some of them have to leave already, and I had a theory test at night, after playing at the beach, I left with them while the rest head back to the room to rest.

I left for home first to prepare and stuff, and reached the driving centre just before the test started. It wasn't an relative easy paper, and I faced some difficulty understanding some of the questions asked, and making me feeling more nervous than I already was. However, I finally pluck up the courage to submit the paper after doing a quick check on the answer, the result was obvious... PASSED!!!!!!!!!! After that, i went back to the chalet to meet up with them for dinner at KFC, where they were bringing back the food to the room there to have their dinner. After we finish, we went back to the room to chit chat, and enjoy ourself over with the left over beer we had, and eating the cookie I brought from home. It was also to celebrate my passing of my final theory and of course not to forget, RYAN'S BIRTHDAY!!!

We were basically just having some fun and watching tv, before i was the first to fall asleep yet again....

28th Feb:
Today, we had to check out at 10am, but the counter called and said that we could check out slightly later, so we slept longer and waited till about the last ten mins before we decided to pack up and went off. As we had the tickets to Wild Wild Wet, we wanted to actually go in and play before heading home but it seems like even the weather wants us to go home and have some rest as the rain didn't stop and got even heavier and heavier. Eventually, we decided to go to the arcade to play for a while as we didn't want to just end it like that, we played the basketball, daytona, mishi bashi and many more. And I remembered that I was able to convert my card to MIP card as I have already accumulated $500 worth of credits in the card, but to my huge disappointment, they said that my card can't be converted as the card didn't that the owner was me, and have to wait for more confirmation before they can do it for me. Well, since things are already like that, and nothing so big deal over it, i went back and had some fun at the arcade. As the rain still haven't subside, we thought that we should just take the shuttle bus service to Pasir Ris MRT, but the service was having lunch break, and so we were stuck there for about another 40 minutes before the next bus service. When the bus came, and eventually drove us to the station, the bus driver stopped us at the taxi stand where there was completely no shelter at all, so we still had to run in the rain till we reach the station. After we reached the station, all of them took the train while I went the bus interchange to wait for it to bring me home.

Overall, this 3 days was fun and enjoyable, but maybe if the bbq night had more people, it would have been more fun. A day of break before i get another 3 days of cruise to sum up the week=D

Woot~ It has been 4 days since I last came in and wrote something. Many things happen during this four days so i might as well give a short overview of it before i go ahead to study.

23th Feb (Friday):

This day i had my first simulator lesson at SYFC, partnering with Benjamin, a fellow course mate. When we reached there, we went in the simulator room and started our lesson soon after. We started our with Benjamin, followed by me doing the same thing over again. As it was the first time, so we could reference with the book of checks, but sooner or later we are suppose to have it done by heart like as though we do it everyday. Overall experience was quite fun for me, as I managed to actually get an experience of moving, flying and even landing of the plane. First time doing it, and although i managed to land the plane safely, i dont think it will be as easy as it seems during the actual thing.

24th Feb (Saturday):

Finally, the 5th weeks of saturday given to SYFC and after today, we will be starting our flying pretty soon. Can't wait for it to happen... As today is also the Meet the Parents Session, and our parents were given a chance to experience a joyride by our instructor. We were just down there looking at our parents getting up the sky while we have to just wait there for them to land before we could go home. To put it bluntly, we can even don't come on that day itself since we have practically nothing much to do also. After that tiring and meaningless day, I went with my family to attend this Grassroot dinner event, where I got bored by most of the entertainment that i actually went to hunt for a pub there to watch Manchester United vs Fulham.

25th Feb (Today):

Sunday morning is always heading to church, and it seems that everyone couldn't wake up in time for the 9am mass, so we went to the 11am one instead. I was suppose to meet up Randy & Zoe to check out some stuff for the chalet tomorrow, but it seems that this can be done just before we check in tomorrow so i decided to meet up with my wifey and heading over to my aunty's place. We all had steamboat dinner over a Geylang Lor 23, and due to the insufficient car space to fit everyone in, we had to take a bus there. After that, we were suppose to get back to my aunty's house to play blackjack, but it seems that everyone is already tired and some of them had children that is having their exams soon. So my grandmother and I head back home while my other family members went to accompany my aunty to a k-box session.

Today is also the match between Arsenal & Chelsea in the Carling Cup Final. I just finish watching, and with some unforunate events that happen at the late period, the game ended 1-2 with Chelsea claiming the Cup Championship yet again. But i think overall, Arsenal deserved to win as it was a younger, weaker side that played against the experienced heavyweight line-up, and despite scoring and playing so well, they finally broke down against the power of Drogba that scored with a powerful header at the 83th minute to secure the victory.

Well, i guess i better study a while before heading to sleep since i have to wake up damn early to visit SIR building to collect my new passport and meeting the peeps at noon to prepare for the stuff for the chalet. Its going to be a very busy day for me for the coming week, with a 3day cruise with my family during the weekend is going to take a toil on me, so hopefully i will be back soon.

Today, i went for the 0620 hrs morning mass since my parents had to work and may not be able to attend mass as a family. After church, i head to SIR building to get my new passport done since i can no longer extend my current passport as it only last for ten years.

This day marks the start of Lent season for about 4 weeks before Good Friday.

And since today is an important date, where we abstain and fast! However, ours is not as strict as the Muslims fasting period where they fast for about the whole day, ours is just simply try to abstain from our favourite food or snack and probably choose one light meal to settle for the day.

Tomorrow i'll be having my second driving lesson, and with my advanced theory paper closing in next week, i must start to prepare in advance to prevent any last minute problem to occur!~!

Well, there are still many things to be done and solve this week, so it will be quite a busy busy 2 weeks for me=D

Gotta go now, cya all soon=D

Wee! Today is the 4th day of Chinese New Year. Time flies and 3 days of public holiday just went past us like that. Didn't had the time to blog for 2 days, so heres the overview of my cny 2007!!

Overall, besides the first day where everyone came over my place to visit, the rest of the days were pretty much spent on visiting other places. Gambling is commonly found everywhere, but seems like this year my luck isn't that good playing blackjack and lost a couple of dollars. Play small, Lose small! Well, that's how things are all the time.

The second day is mostly about visiting our relatives and recieving red packets. Most of them are just a yearly visiting since we don't see them very often. I guess alot of us here in singapore are also experiencing such visits. After a tiring day, I went back home to finish 3 epsiode of Prison Break before I decided to finally lie on the bed and sleep!~ zZzzZ!!

The third day is also going around different parts of Singapore to visit and collecting red packets. In additional, we had a small family gathering, having steamboat at my house and played blackjack. Today seems to be a slightly better luck, and winning some money from the capital given by my father. He was very lucky in the afternoon that he almost got everything he wanted or wished for, but didn't play at night since he gave me his capital!! Hmm, i believe financially, everyone is surviving somehow and probably why some face a drop in the total amount they collect anyway. Well, enjoy this last 10 days of Chinese New Year!! Although tomorrow is a school day already, hopefully everyone had their good break and good luck in all those taking exams or results!!

Finale!!! Wish Everyone A Happy Prosperous Chinese New Year!!!!! Off to Bed!!!!!!

CnY Day 1

Let us all welcome the Year of the Pig!!!!

Year after year, people will start swarming my house after noon for visiting. I managed to kick myself up at about 11am, and getting ready for people to come. Friends and relative came and visit us, and we waited for my aunty to make her way here. Waited until we decided to go ahead with the usual tradition of 'lou hei', which means wishing of good luck if i'm not wrong.

After most of them left already, about 4plus, we left home for my grandmother's house. When i reach there, we went down to the pool to swim for about 3 hours before heading back to have our dinner. Then, we played some card games before some started to head home as it was getting late already. Well, for me, i just reached home cause my mother was playing mahjong over there. Today seems to be a bad day for her, cause i dont usually see her lose that much. Probably not 'alot' but for my poor case, even ten seems alot?

Well, this pretty much sums up my first day of chinese new year. Tomorrow will be visiting day for us, where we go to many different places, in many different directions to visit. Very very tired now, so shall end it here and hopefully be back tomorrow!!

A Happy Chinese New Year to everyone...

Well, although today is the eve of chinese new year, i still had to report to SYFC 0900 hrs, as there was still a mass flight briefing to attend before we comence flying. But as expected, everyone was more concern to get back home early, and we finished our briefing about 1pm. By then everyone will be gone and heading home for early break today. Next saturday will be Parent's Day, and some of my course mate has already got their first simulator planned for the week.

About 1630hrs, our family left for sunset mass before bringing my granny over to my aunty's house before having our reunion dinner with my father's family. We were there till around 2200hrs before we started to head home. Hmm, tomorrow will be Day 1 of chinese new year, so there is going to be many people collecting ang baos, and visiting to go. Will be quite busy i suppose, but i will try to blog something out=D

Today, i met up for the first time with my driving instructor. Every lesson is 1 1/2 hours, and since it was the first time, so he spent like 30minutes explaining about everything I will need to know or learn about the car! And since young, i have already been in and out of the car, things like that are not stranger to me, and i didn't want to let the instructor think that i'm a smart-alec, so i just take it as a revision needed before i start driving on the road.

Today was basically learning how to get used to the moving point of the clutch, and shifting from the first to the second gear transmission. Although i only drove along one street nearby my house, but to shift the gear was quite fun, and hopefully by the next lesson, i will be able to shift up to four gear on the road. Maybe cause it was the first lesson, so the instructor didn't scold nor praise me on my driving. Well, it is still quite a long way more, since the practical dates are like getting further and further, haiz~!

Today i will have my first driving lessons at 11am, and hopefully i will be able to master some of the stuff i hope to do so. Well, driving is like maths where practise becomes perfect, and the more you practise, the more steady you will be. I'm already taking a gamble by getting my PDL as such an early stage, but i will put in all my effort to ensure that nothing will go wrong till i get my QDL!!

Alright, today is also Valentine's Day, so hopefully everyone will enjoy themselves. And my wifey to get a 'I Love You!' broadcast on my blog...

Today the meeting was held at t2011, and before i say anything, i will just say the camp post for the benefit of anyone.

Camp Chief : Barnet
Asst. Camp Chief : Yong Hui
Warden : Bastian
Games Master : Ben
Food i/c : Xian Hui
QM : Can't remember now?
Well, there are still a few more, but never mind. Basically today's meeting was not really quite ideal as most of the stuff to be done seems to be alot, but actually when you start to speak, things seem to be very short and sweet? Hopefully the next one will be more constructive i would say? Actually i got nothing much to say, besides me thinking of joining the GLs as planned=D
Yet another day gone, and today i passed my BTT=D

Today is the third concecutive saturday that i've been to SYFC, from morning 9am till late afternoon 5pm. Based on today's timetable given, we should be finishing around 6pm, but due to many MANY changes, we were released shortly after 4.45pm. Although next saturday is Eve of Chinese New Year, there will still be lessons going on, and from what i can see, besides the morning briefing that i must go in order to start flying, the rest of the lessons will depends on the bookings i've made and may be planned to fly, else it should be yet another early release~!

Well, looking forward for my first flying experience and hopefully going solo ASAP, of course learning the basics with my yet to be 'appointed' pilot in charge of me. Seems like 7 days to go, i better concentrate on my driving test on Monday, and i will definately go for it without fail!!!!!!!!!!!!

BANKAI!

Today is the release of the 'O' level results...

I went back to school to check out some of my juniors from my CCA or past friends that will be taking the result. I also went back to pass some stuff to the teachers since i finally decided to pack my messy cupboard full of books. I also recieved news of my wifey's result, and she got a 9 pointer, so heres a CONGRATS, and a JOB WELL DONE!!!!

And since it was on a friday afternoon, there was NCC training going on, so i went to take a look at the new juniors and seniors taking care of them. Time flies, it has already been 3 years since i passed down, and i think i'm still the only one getting involved in this, since even Vincent has already passed out as an officer and waiting for his 'A' level results that will be out in two weeks time. Well, time has change things indeed from my time, and i guess it's probably time for me to get out of this and get on.

This is just something for my to babble about, so.. yeah.. ending this short post today=D

Yet again, WELL DONE TO ALL 'O' LEVELS STUDENTS! Hope to see you'll soon at SP!! =D

Hmm, after so many days of decision and research of which chalet will be good or cheap for this coming class chalet that i'm to plan for. I finally decided to just get on to the net and settle it, since i'm having a world of a problem just to get a booking for the Pasir Ris's Bunglow.

Alright so heres the confirmed dates, 26-28th Feb 2007. Location will be at Downtown East, Pasir Ris. Exact Location will be notified as soon as i get the details, should be when the dates are closer~! Hopefully everyone will spread the news, and will have more than enough time to selve any other plans, or programmes just to keep themselves free for this. Many things should be planned, so watch out for it!!

Any enquires can be made directly to me for now,

hmm, this sounds like an advertisment in my blog, but looks cool~~!~!

Today was my final year examination paper, OOPM (Java) being the only paper to be tested for this term. And with this, it marks the end of my year 1 in Singapore Polytechnic till the release of results on 7th March.

The paper was generally quite easy to handle, with the exam format being the same as the 0607 paper found in the library. I realise that if anyone actually copied the whole paper down to the book, he/she would have gotten 100% straight away since the questions are just being shifted around and tested. After the paper, our class was supposed to meet up together to discuss about the class chalet, but probably due to the different timing we left after the paper, as some left early since they finish the paper, some of them went back already. So, instead of discussing about the chalet, we went on to have our lunch with the rest of the class. As we didn't want to have our lunch in school, and since it was crowded too, we decided to head over to VivoCity via bus.

We settled our lunch at Carls Jr. , and I ate the usual Beef Chilli Chesse Fries, with small fries and a small drink. Cost up to $8 for this 3 items, but it really made me very very full. However, with my hiccups occuring, it didn't make any of my meals an enjoyable one. Hopefully i will be able to get rid of it, and back to normal? After the meal, we decided to head to the pet shop at the top floor to have a view of the different pets they have, and than we head over to the arcade and spend quite some time there.

Everyone was just playing around, and making lotta's noise. And there was this partically game, which was quite new to me, probably because i seldom hit to the arcade now, there is this shooting game in the car meant for couples, where they can actually check their compatiabilty and although KL and Wei Hong (Both guys) were playing, they got a high 98% for the first stage before WH didn't make it to the 2nd round. Another highlight game, was the striker game where we just made a hell lots of noise and trying to score against each other, and maybe cause i keep scoring, some didn't like me to help the other team. But I enjoyed myself over, and definately everyone had their fun over there.

Next, we went walk around VivoCity till about 5-6 before I set off for home since i wasn't feeling very well to begin with.

Holidays now, and I just recieved news that the O level result will be out on FRIDAY 9th Feb, so good luck to all the people waiting for this~!~!

0800hrs - Rise and shine, new day with new stuff to be learned again.

Arrive Seletar Airbase before 9 and went in by a fellow coursemate's car. We were having our test, but most of us didn't prepare for the exams. However, it seems relatively easy if you did, and it was like an open book test since the officer just left us there while he probably went to have his morning coffee. I guess it was just a revision of last week's lessons we had with him.

Next, we had a flight booking briefing where we were taught step by step on how we have to book or change our flight booking through the various ways there. Services that we can use to inform the Operation Room whenever we have things crop up will help us and them plan for the others since the sehdule is always full. After that, we left with the driver to Jalan Kayu for a quick lunch, and it was the first time, 90% of the course 150 was eating together. Just only the 2nd week, we are getting closer and closer each weekends. 3 more weekends before the parents' day and thats when some of the coursemate have to say their goodbyes due to various reasons. There is going to be 3 phrases to this course up to a year, and only the elite ones will be able to stay on and complete the course.

After our lunch, we came back to have our first mentoring session with the Alumis'. Some of my coursemate were quite crazy over this alumi, probably due to the lack of girl intake over there. That aside, we were being brought around to familiarise with the whole building, and knowing where are most of the places located. We were also brought out to the hanger to have a practical session on how to conduct checks before we have our first flight. This session at the hanger was the best of all as I managed to get a rough idea on how to coduct the pre-taking off checks and it just seems to be like a second-nature to me already. Hopefully, with a few practise at home and the weeks to come, i will really be able to take it easy since i dont suppose it to be any easier.

With that being the last thing we are doing this week, we left by evening!

Today, I had breakfast with my wifey at Pasir Ris MacDonald's, before heading back to put the stuff home. After I went to school to collect a letter from Hawa for Yap Meng, regarding the ADD. When i reached, Hawa was having her video screening, so i waited for her at the clubroom. While i was there, i watched 5 epsiodes of Bleach before i got so tired watching, that i decided to have a walk.

Soon, Hawa reached the clubroom and i sort of join in the discussion about the ADD, as up till the now the response from the people of SMIT is very VERY BAD. The percentage of people that signd up was close to 0%, all thanks to Jeremy who is the only one that paid up the $70. We were discussing whether should be have a change of hotel so that the prices can be cheaper, or can we hold it at another place, where the price is also slightly cheaper. After so much of discussion, I believe that something was done, but nothing was confirmed as no one can actually confirm any cheaper prices since booking of hotels needs about 2 months. Already left with one month, and with the response so bad, i think lowering the price of the tickets will be the only way people will want to go, as i don't think anyone is able to just give out $7o.

Soon after, I was suppose to leave for home to get some rest, when i recieved a phone call from Randy telling me that his room is locked from the inside when he went for a bathe. It is assumed that the strong wind blowing from his window, gave a hard knock to the wall, locking in process before the usual "BOOM". Realising that the door was lock, he was lost as most of his valuables were inside the room and he is unable to get out of the house. The locksmith he called charged him $60, with a free door handle to go with it. When i arrived, we discussed about how we are going to climb over the window, since it can be still be entered through there. Randy didn't try this method at first as he was afraid that if he failed to do so, he will not be able to get back to the house since he won't be able to climb back. So, it was a spiderman experience for the both of us, before Randy finally decided to go for it and with the first try, he made it. Making so much noise from the 9th floor, even those below were looking up to see what we were trying to do, as they might just think that we are the spider-theives climbing over to people's house.

Well well, after that we had our dinner at Burger King around Holland V. and went back home soon after... Now, I'm writing this entry before tomorrow's 2nd long day from the 2/5 weeks of SYFC ground school training~!~!
