History.

My apologies.

If i didn't remember wrongly, i ended my previous entry on the first night of my class chalet and was supposed to continue with it, but apparently i got so darn lazy to write that i guess its okay if i didn't continue =) Anyway, not that i don't want to write, but is I don't know what to write for the following days since i was held up at work during the main event, which was the BBQ night where majority of my classmates came. By the time i finish with my work and rushed down, there were only a handful left since many didn't stay too late in the end.

Anyway, yesterday saw the first F1 night street race in Singapore on TV though. It somehow made me think about it for a while, this 2008 year is one that Singapore suddenly can be seen on the world map. A insignificance island on the world map, has managed to hold a GP F1 race here in our very own country. Not only that, we also got the hosting of the first ever Youth Olympics which will happen in 2010, but Singapore has suddenly created history, something for generations to generations to be proud of.

Now still serving holidays, still wandering around aimlessly, trying to look for some direction but nothing is coming out of it. I pondered about this day and night, yet i can't find an answer to this question in life that i have.

Maybe its just me? maybe. . . We'll see...

Chalet.

Finally writing in this entry i was supposed to for the past few days, but since i just can't find the right mood to write it out, so waited for the right moment i guess. Not that now is a very good time to be writing an entry, but if i don't write it before i sleep tonight, there probably won't be any entries for the week already.

Well well, back to the main topic. . . . . . Class Chalet. . .

Been a long long time since i had chalet, especially with my class. If i didn't remember wrongly, the last time i had a class chalet was during my year 1 Poly life. Could still remember some parts of the chalet, so brings back some memories i guess!!

On the first day, since many of my classmates couldn't make it due to the many reasons that i'm lazy to even write them out, so it was only the 5 of us for the whole night. And for the first time in my life, i check in a chalet at 8.30 PM!! Though we had our reasons for doing so, but i guess it kinda wasted one whole day of the chalet where we could actually we doing some activities, but since most of my classmates weren't free on that particular day it wasn't really a lost of time in the end. So after we checked in, we watched some TV shows, played cards, showering and cleaning up for the day to prepare for the next day.

GOSH, i so wanted to finish this entry but i got tired so i shall continue tomorrow morning=)

Keep reading!!! I'm B.o.r.e.d...

Joke.

Heya peeps, i would like to apologize for the lack of updates as i haven't had the chance to be at the computer this whole week so thus the long delay till now. But well, its never too late right!! I'm sure every reader will agree also since they are looking for something to read also=)

Another week has pass me by again, and i'm still drifting around the week as usual which is a bad sign cause i should be doing something fruitful or meaningful i guess. Alright, i shall get on to the main issue of this entry, Joke. If you're expecting a joke from this, than you might have to wait a little longer since i'm not a good joker in person, nor on the net as well.

I guess i could start from here, during this Thursday evening, i met up with Adrian(mutu) & Mark supposedly for dinner at Bedok 85 since Adrian just POP and is awaiting for his posting. But before i could find a parking lot there, they called and tell me that no point eating here since all the delicious famous food stalls somehow closed all on the same day. Telling us not to eat there and find somewhere else instead. It was when Adrian recieved a call from, (I shall call this person Pete).

In short, we went to parkway parade to meet up this guy as he borrow some cash from
mutulast time, and before we could even meet this person, he asked mutu to transfer $30/- for him to pay for his cab fare on his way here. Was saying that he only had very big notes with him and the taxi won't have enough to change for him. While I and Mark was seriously doubting this guy and even urged mutu not to believe his words and forget about it. It was until mutu said that guy will pass him a $1000/- note to him, than we finally gave in since mutu was asking us for help badly as well.

Well, put that aside for a moment, while we were transferring the money over, guess who we saw? Since i was feeling a little hungry, so i decided to go Old Chang Kee to get some puffs, i saw DELTA there buying as well. Is it fated that we saw her there with mutu? I wonder.. =p

In the end, after all the wait and calls, we still didn't see that person, and decided to just leave there after our dinner since we waited at least for 2 hours already. How big can Singapore be that will take you 2 hours by cab. So we concluded that it's a fraud, and told mutu to be careful not to lend anymore money to that person anymore. What a joke?!

Anyway, after that since we didn't want to leave for home so early, after a long consideration, we finally decided on prawning at Pasir Ris Park there. Since i always go prawning with my parent, and Mark also do regular prawning, so why not have a try. We catched for 2 long hours, and all we caught was only a patheic 3. One given by one uncle that was leaving when we started, one by mark after 1 hour 20 mins, and one by mutu in 5 mins for his first time trying. While i got none despite going prawning so many times, so malu.. =p

Well, we did had some free cooked prawns given by the uncle, though i finished most of them since i gave up trying to catch one after 1 hour. We decided that we will go Bishan there instead since i'm more adapt to there also.

Now having class chalet for 3 Days, so catch up with me then!!..

Leader.

Boohoo finally back from camp... so i guess i will just be writing about it? Doubt anyone missed me here so i shan't ask that question. HAHA..

Alright back to the topic.

Stayed in school on Tuesday so as to prepare for the start of the camp the next morning. But since i had some other stuff to handle before i reached school so i arrived slightly later than expected, but when i reached, everyone was nowhere to be found busy preparing for tomorrow while i stayed in the room waiting for more than 2 hours. Was supposed to be sleeping early for tomorrow, but everything ended only at around midnight. Although i couldn't sleep so in the end went to hunt with Gavin till around 4 AM in the morning before getting some rest.

1st Day
Got up quite reluctantly due to the lack of sleep, but since orders was given to wake up and get ready by 7.30 AM. Campers was told to reach school by 8AM SHARP, so most of us was waiting at the second level and for the record, this year everyone was late! Although we could have stayed much longer to see some actions or rest longer in school as we were told that its free and easy till 11 AM, but the orders suddenly changed to leave immediately which i have absolutely no idea why since we had the luxury to choose the fastest transportation route from school to the Changi Village jetty while the campers have to take the longest route from school. So in the end, we waited at the jetty for around 3 hours ++ before leaving Singapore Island at around 2 PM. I only had duty in the night at 1.30 AM so there isn't much i have to say or write so shall move on to the next day.

2nd Day
I, along with Weishan & Samantha Kho took 5 of them to Mamam Beach for their sleeping place. While Gavin, Jiehui, Alpha & Sherilyn took the other few to Nordin Beach. Counting this, it will be my 5th consecutive time, 3rd year in the row heading there for sleep time. While i was always playing the role of the devil, i thought that maybe this year i could play the role of an angel instead. So with that in mind, Weishan wanted to tried playing the role of the devil, so i could get on to the role of an angel.

Did the usual pitch and unpitch the tent, clearing some punishment and setting some ground rules before they can actually go and sleep. While it was suppose to be Weishan being the devil, my devil instinct came and kinda took over at some point in time.

The best way i could describe it would be that i'm a vampire, and i was trying to control not drinking human's blood, but with the large amount of blood presenting in front of me, i could not control anymore and took some while playing it down most of the time. But the bottom line is, I failed to be angel i wanted to be.

Woke them up at around 4.30 AM and did the usual stuff except for the legendary 40 mins half-squat. But doesn't matter, since it's already over and they went back to HQ in a piece nevertheless. Was completely shagged out probably due to the lack of sleep for two days including the prep camp night where i only slept for 3 hours and the lack of red bulls to pump me up for the day.

Shall not go on to the details during the day, but i was really shagged out that i went to the jetty and sleep for around 5 hours or so till noon. Since we didn't have any duty during the day for us, we booked a chalet near the jetty for a day. So we continued to rest there till evening before we head back to HQ. The campers had a hike and several activities, along with the nightwalk during the night. They were quite shagged out i suppose so the OC decided to let them rest in HQ without going to their campsite.

3rd Day
Returned the room by 10 AM after boiling many bottles and headed back to HQ. Nothing much i can comment on since i was doing nothing the whole day. It was only until outdoor cooking that i surfaced and started to create a fire with Gavin since we decided to do something, using that fire we could create to cook our dinner. While all the materials used were leftovers from all the other groups, we could also only create a small fire that won't last too long. As we didn't have any other materials to maintain the fire, there was no other choice but to use more solid fuel to create a large fire to burn down all the bigger branches that was left by the other groups.

After a period of time, we finally created a steam hot enough to cook anything and would last for a long time, but sadly with a slipped hand, I accidently destroyed the fire with the overflowing water in the mass tin. There was nothing i could do to prevent it so we had to re-create the fire all over again. Finally had our dinner, den we joined the rest to the campfire site and enjoy the fire, cocktails and campsongs. Once that was over, it was time to return their punishment.

For this year, only 3 people was selected to execute this, so the rest of us went somewhere and started playing cards. We played so long that we started out with 7 people, and ended of with just 4 before coming out to do some stretches. Rain came down around 4 AM, and the OC already decided to cancelled off the POP in ubin since they didn't have any special thing prepared.

4th Day
Slept at the jetty with several others, was forced to wake up due to the cold freezing weather. Only me and Weishan was left as the rest left earlier since they had to report back to HQ. Had our breakfast in the rain, packed our stuff and head back to Singapore. After washing up the stuff, had the POP and went home. And this concludes the end of the camp.

Since i didn't have the chance to say anything, so i guess i will just say it here. If you're lucky enough to pass by and read this. Good for you if you understand!

~" What happened for the past 4 days is history, what's more important is how you have grown as a person for the future"

~" If the training wasn't uncomfortable to you, you have not changed"

~" Everything given to you in life is a privilege, nothing is a right here"

Well, there was a couple more i would like to say, but either i can't remember what, or i just lazy to say it. I think this 3 advice should be good enough for those who went through this camp to sit back and think about it. This post should be long enough, there should have been pictures uploaded as soon as i get them from Alpha since i think he was the only one with the camera. So wait up and catch up soon!!

Ja ne~

Hmm, remembering saying that i will try to write in more entries hopefully in a daily habit.

But unfortunately, my days are very exciting nor i have anything i would like to write about. Which is the very reason why i don't usually blog nowadays. However, somewhere tingly in me tells me to keep on with the resolve of at least 4 entries in a week with or without pictures.

Didn't had much to do today since i only went down to school for a 'meeting' which turned out to be a game testing day. I just thought that maybe it easy to say that it is a game testing session, so that at least we are mentally and physically prepared to be in the mood for it. Not sure why there is a game testing session at such late period prior to the event, but nevertheless, it was good to try it out if they hadn't done so. After that, nothing much left for the day to do, so i went home early to prepare for the coming camp. I'll be away at Pulau Ubin for the next 4 days, even though i doubt anyone will be looking for me to go out so its just in case someone reads and knows about it lo!! =)

Couldn't think of a better title, so came out with Six-September. As this bears no significant purpose to anybody unless for those who were brought to earth that day, this still aches me every year. Has been quite a few years already, but no point trying to go back to the past as things will never be the same again. Just a random things that crossed my mind while trying to write in this entry. . .

~"Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, but today is a gift. That is why it is called the present"

Oogway, Kungfu Panda

This quote should be very familiar to many, but i think its the best quote for me to use at this time so hope you are enjoying every part of this life even though things may never be the same again.

Chance.

Another week of holiday just pass me by, and looking back at what I have done, I'm disappointed. But since time can never be reversed nor taken back, so maybe i should just look towards this week and I'm sure things will just get better.

I realize the main reason that i haven't been regularly blogging is probably due to the lack of content sufficient enough for me to write in an entry. I have since grew lazy to write short post, but maybe i should try to get the daily entries in no matter what. Pictures or words, they are all what i felt for the day. Sorry to many who usually just come by due to their bored-ness at home or just wanna check things out here, and always leave empty-handed, i promise to write in more often than usual.

Honestly, life has been the same since that incident happen, my world changed 360 degree yet even until now, i don't feel like i have moved on much since. Maybe even worse nowadays though it doesn't seem so. Feelings is something that every human living in this world will have, whether its happy or sad, everyone will experience it. I just hope a chance could be given by the light, to move on bit by bit. . . away from this dark side of life. . .

Ultimate.

Now taking over someones shift cause my colleague is going to have some farewell dinner with his friends. Business was better than Saturday's but around this time, it gets extremely quiet with only two person left inside the shop. So kinda bored having to work like this, that's why i'm here blogging.. .. ..

Met up with Jun yesterday with many others at Parkview Sq field in the evening after i was done monster hunting with Gavin & Wei Shan in school.

They were having the usual pick-ups over there so i decided to join in the fun since i haven't been doing much sports for a long while. Well, if you still don't know what i'm talking about, its Ultimate Frisbee.

Ultimate
This is ULTIMATE FRISBEE

Pick-ups are casual games of Ultimate Frisbee where any level players are welcome during pickup to have some fun and to learn from others. Since it was drizzling a little earlier, so there weren't as many people as expected, but still we was still able to get a 5v5 match and got lots of fun from it.

Didn't bring my disc this time cause i thought bringing myself was more than enough. Seems like everyone will bring one for practise purpose. Afterall, it has been a long time since back in secondary school when i was teaching lower secondary how to play. My current one is quite used and "rusty" already, so maybe i should invest in one instead.

I found a website that provides such services and i have taken fancy on three of them, however i'm only going to decide on one. Maybe readers could give their comments and help me out. I will make my decision in three days time.

Here is the designs and my personal feelings about it,

Ultimate
This is the standard white color that many will be used, or rather during competitions. So getting it and practising is just like getting used to competition disc.

Ultimate
This is the light blue, one of my preferred color. Though its not as attractive as the white, i just liked the color.

Ultimate
This glow disc caught my eye went i saw it. Currently its my choice to buy since i realise we always play until normal eyes can't see the disc and its quite hard to play with the standard white disc, having this glow disc might just give me some added gametime although not for long since there isn't much light room for us to play too long also.

The above three disc are my top 3 option to buy. If anyone pops by and view it, do tag and let me know what you think its the best to get. Price is not a problem though i didn't put down, you guys should know which one is more expensive than the other.
