Can't think of a better word to describe what I'm feeling right now but i guess if you can understand what the title means, your Chinese is pretty good.
*Its already a very big clue so if you still can't guess it than too bad for me.

Haven't been able to blog or even surf the Internet this few days due to some connection problems but nevertheless, I've been spending most of the time watching TV shows like i used to during my younger days i guess. Those were the days where i had nothing better to do, nowhere better to go other than just stay home and wait till its bedtime and get ready for school the next morning. For the past 3 weeks, there isn't much of an update i can give other than i currently start work at 9AM, end at 6.30PM, home by 7 and bed at 12MN. Maybe i can share my feelings during my attachment as an intern, its not going to sound very nice or fun (unless I'm lazy to carry on cause I'm pretty tired while writing this entry) so if you still want to have dreamland attachment than you better stop reading here and wait for the next entry!!

I guess i also can't say too much about it since I'm still serving my attachment and if this gets out, i will be dead i guess. Well, other than the strict regulations from the company that many will find it inconvenience from my point of view, I'm actually coping very well with it cause those regulations aren't really needed by me like i used to. Of course, everyday i report work on time at 9am sharp has already become quite an habit for me as many will know that I'm actually a very heavy sleeper, known for skipping morning lessons during school term. Now that i cannot be late, i actually missed the time when i can take my time to get to school, chat and enjoy with the many companies i can find.

I shall maybe give some short information about my first week and stop. I finally received the first grade of my ITP attachment given by the TECHNICAL MANAGER! Not sure if the results come as a surprise or a shock to you, I'm not afraid to share this result with everyone.

Performance: C
Attendance: Regular
Punctuality: Unsatisfied

For the first two grades, i kinda expected it to come like this although i expected at least a B,B with all the effort and work that i have done considering it as the first week. Well, forget about the first 2, the third one has to be regular cause i haven't been absent from work since the start, but its nothing such a big deal since its only been 3 weeks. The only unhappiness came from the final grade which i eventually found out from him that he marks me down just because one of the days i will late for about 15 mins, according to the server time that i have to login and out everyday to set the time i report for work which is 10 minutes faster than the OFFICIAL WORK CLOCK!! and if you already forget the reasons, its because i was 10 minutes less for 1/7 days in a week!!! This come to dismoralise me in my already DISMORALISED mood due to personal reasons i guess..

Hmm, i guess i will stop here before it gets even more wordy and hopefully i can see everyone else soon.

Its only been 1 month since... but ... has never been forgotten in my mind, at any point of time. Hopefully.... i can only hope...

Went to watch Kung Fu Dunk with a friend, accompanyed by two of her working friends. Didn't managed to catch this show when it premiered on Chinese New Year (7/2/08), and by the time i found the time and mood to watch, i realise almost everyone already watched so was kinda looking for people to watch it anyway. Since i fortunately found someone looking for people to watch also, and i just finish work.

The show was kinda just portraying more on Jay Chou's coolness in acting and in person i guess. Well, no offence to him or anything, cause his songs are really good especially the latest one for this movie. Also, i get to watch Charlene on screen after so many months and definately enjoyed myself watching. Nothing much to update other than more work piling up for me during attachment which makes me doesn't feel like working half the time.

However, i will still do my best in every work that I do and try to enjoy myself in my short stint there. Just wanted to especially share this with everyone that will read. Today, my Technical manager was talking about the company thinking about moving on to using Microsoft latest software launch, Silverlight. I shall skip the rest of the explaination since i need tips on people that have experience or know a thing or two. He said this at the end of our short discussion with the whole team, posing it as an challenge for him during my short attachment to research and get a touch on the whole experience during my time at home using my own personal computer. And if i can teach him a thing or two about the softwares and giving him a detailed report on how much the company will need to actually make an effort to incoroperate this whole change for the company.

So, calling out to anyone that knows of this software and is relatively free now that they can actually help me do some research and let me know about it. Shall thank you all in advance!! Though i guess I will still have to do it myself instead of waiting for something to happen bah! Since its going to be affecting my grades for ITP which he already said so clearly, got to put some effort to ensure my smooth sailing year 3 for a better grade. Hopefully i did realtively well this year too, as the result will be out this Sunday!! Good luck to everyone that is waiting for the result too!!!

Gotta go and rest liao. It's another 9 hours at the computer again!!!

Though it was a Saturday, i still had work. I woke up slightly later than usual and reported late for work in the process, although its was just ten minutes, the technical manager already called me and asked for my location at the 9.10 dot. Although he said that i can always call back to tell him i will be late if i know, but i'm really worried about it cause it doesn't seem to be a good thing if i call him to tell him i will be late for work. But since he is very particular about this, there isn't much i can do but to try not to be late for work anymore.

I shall skip the rest of the day and jump straight to ADD since i have to sleep soon.

It's been quite a while since i last wrote something in my blog. It should be before the CNY period when i last wrote an entry in.

So before i start saying anything, HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR TO EVERYONE! HAVE A HAPPY RAT YEAR!


While everyone started their ITP on Monday after the long break of CNY, i started mine on tuesday not actually knowing that they actually decided to rest one more day before starting work. Made me wait outside the office for about one hour waiting for something to happen like that. After i gave up waiting outside the office, i went home to sleep for another few more hours since i couldn't get any of my brothers on the phone!!

Rested another day more, i formally start my internship on Tuesday. Before i start about my first impression on the company on my first day, let me just give a brief description of the company i am attached to. I'm attached to a web-based design company, which provide branding of the client, programming applications related to the client and many more services. I reported on time for my first day of work, and waited at the conference room for about 30 minutes before the technical manager came in and have a short chat with me. He told me about the company's regulations and certain stuff which i might need to take note during my short stint in GNU. After about 15 minutes of chat, he left the room and left me carry on waiting till about 11.30am before my immediate supervisor came along with the CEO of the company. While i was in the conference room waiting, i was basically doing nothing so time was passing off pretty slowly. During the wait, i actually managed to complete certain stuff, reading 4 chapters of the book my Godma gave me for my birthday last year, read finish the whole 8 days i bought. Excluding the fact i also use my laptop in attempt to try to logon to RO and play a while=p

After my supervisor came, she came in and got me to sign certain agreement with the company. Took me around an hour before i signed all the documents. Most of it were contracts on the works that i will be doing and using during my stay here in GNU. nothing much of a harm it can be done unless i took their clients to another company, so i went ahead to sign the documents. Had my lunch around noon with 2 other workers which is my lunch buddies for the rest of my time here. My first task from the company was to make some branding for the company as the logos and namecard they are currently holding on is relatively old and have been around for quite some time already. I finally managed to start working on my computer that was assigned to me. Although it wasn't as what i have expected but i guess i can't comment much about it and have to just be contented with what is given to me. Now if you think its the worse that can happen, when i try to move around with the PC, i realised there is alot of softwares that is missings in my PC.

Though my supervisor said she will install it when she is free later on, but its already been one week and i only have those limited softwares to use. However, I still got to complete the task and assignment given to me, so i have to be flexible in using whatever software that i can use in my computers. For the past one whole week, it may get quite boring at times, but i have learn alot from just this past whole week though i may feel to be over-worked at times. I'm not talking about the working hours, just the work that have to be done.

I guess i will just stop here and maybe the coming week will be a better one that this!!=D

Wishing everyone a Happy Lunar New Year, and although i believe most people are dreaming about how much ang baos they are going to get from family, relatives and friends.

Hopefully a new year brings a new beginning, a fresh bright start to the year as i proceed on to my attachment this coming monday, and of course my final year in Polytechnic. After going through close to twenty years of my life, somehow i still feel something empty within me that i'm still looking for the right hole to fill. Can't say much about it since i am also looking for the right solution but i guess i can't just sit back and wait for something to happen in my life? So maybe, hopefully this year brings more joy, fun and laughter that i've missed in the previous years. . . . . .

Had alot to blog about yet just couldn't find the right mood to write down so i think i forget what i wanted to blog about already. Well, as i said this new years brings a new beginning and hopefully. . .

Finally found the time to write in an entry despite facing the whole for the past 72 hours at the computer 90% of the time. Although i can still vividly remember me telling myself that i won't be playing the game anymore, i'm back playing another server since i got so bored during my holidays that i really spent the last 3 days playing the game. Its Ragnarok online private server, but it has a regular 1000 people online and i will be looking forward to Guild Wars in a while i guess. . .

Well, enough said about this game, guess i will write about some of the stuff happened this week. If you're expecting something exciting out of this, its best you change your mindset immediately. Monday was my last and final paper of the semester, and it was DBMS. Yet again, i did some last minute revision and the fact that i'm feeling quite confident despite skipping almost every lesson available in this semester proves that DBMS isn't that hard a module to pass and i can assure anyone that if you really study in the correct direction for both written test, an DIST grade is easily obtainable. However, i guess i could settle with a B if possible=D

After that, i spend my next two days on Movies & Movies....

Rambo IV

The fourth sequal of John Rambo, went to watch with Gavin & Frendy since we failed to find anyone else to accompany us to watch this rated M18 movie. Although i can only remember certain parts of the first three, i would say i enjoyed watching this cause the action by Sylvester Stallone was really good, with all the action and war going on in the show!!

3:10 to Yuma

Went to watch this with Gavin & zOe while waiting for Frendy to finish his stuff in school and Samantha to finish work @ 7. This show wasn't that bad, quite nice and enjoyable just that some parts of the movie i didn't really understand why he did that all for him and in the end changed from the most wanted man, to the saviour of the world like that.. lolx...
