Yesterday was FO reunion where everyone meet up again after the FO Camp was over about two weeks ago. There was about 110 year 1 that sign up to come for the FOR, from the one week of registration we had in school.

I reached school about 10.20, preparing all the logistics for today's event to be brought over to the ECP. Somehow i managed to get my dad to borrow my uncle's 7-seater to bring the equipments over, bring along the 7 people that came down to help me.

When we reach ECP, we walk down from Area 'E' to 'A' to get our overnight bikes. Along our way there, we saw batches after batches of people walking towards the pit while we were going to get our bikes. When we reach, we got our bikes at $10 for the whole day till tomorrow 9am. When we cycled back, everyone was heading towards the food court to have their lunch there. Since we had nothing much to do, we cycled around the area before heading back to rest~

Around evening, i left there for my grandmother's birthday.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY AH MA, and wishing her to be healthy always!

My family Photo~!

Once the dinner was over, my family sent my girlfriend home, before sending me back to ECP. Everyone was still busy having bbq, and i chat with my group, Tritons.

After a while, we decided to go for night cycling, and the 8 of us went on to chase the earlier group. However, while we were still chasing the group in front, the rain suddenly pour down on us. We had to seek shelter at the concourse for about 90 minutes before we could set off as the rain slowly settled down. We went to MacDonald's for breakfast before heading back to ECP.

Here is one of the photo taken during the trip, seeking shelter.

All of us, excluding Pat taking the picture for us!

Just came back after having supper with my secondary school mates. With Timothy driving, fetching Terence, Surya and me, wanted to go newton circle to have our supper, but we ended up missing a turn and went all the way towards Bukit Timah area, where we decided to settle it over at Adam Food Centre.

When we went in, all the stalls left open wasn't very appealing to us, so we went back to the car and drove to Holland V. and ate our supper there. While we were there, i decided to call Randy to come over to join us, since Surya is also a fellow Indonesian, and could make friends from there.

After eating, we sat there and chat till about 2.30am before we decided to head back since Surya and I had school in the morning. So here I am typing an entry at 3am, when i have to wake up in about 3 hours time, as I have a 8am morning practical lesson tomorrow!!!

Well, i enjoyed this supper outing, so hopefully there will be more to come. Hopefully by the next time, I will be able to drive out the car and meet together for supper. More car, means more people to fetch and go for supper together. I bet it will be very fun with everyone there and chatting together all the way till the end=D!!

Alright, i think i go and sleep already. Over & Out!!

After planning for 13 times, i finally managed to complete up to my 6th flight in my course of BFC.

Today's flight, i'm required to show my instructor on Climbing & Descending. But before we went to the plane, we talked about an issue of the ground check. All I wanted was to clarify the issue and get the right way of doing the checks, but it seems that he got it the wrong way by thinking that I put the blame on him teaching me to do the checks like this. And because of that, I got a long harsh lecture from him before the flight, and i think that spoilt the whole mood of the flight totally.

Even though my instructor say that he wont hold any grudges against his students, and will always like to stay closely bond together. After that long pre-flight briefing we had, I immediately went out to the aircraft to do my ground checks. As i was doing it, my instructor was observing me all the while, and he started to be picky over the smallest of details. He even start by saying that, he better say it out else, i will say that its him who teach me to do that one. I feel so wronged when he started to do that, and its not even the starting of the aircraft, GOD KNOWS what will happen after i went up to the sky? Despite all this, i carried with the flight and get on with the exercise!

Overall flight was generally good, but as usual, it wasn't the smoothest flight i always sit with the other instructors so far. And as he was my primary instructor, i guess i really understand why flying constantly with one instructor is so important as I will be used to do his likes, and avoid his dislikes in all cost.

Over at the debrief of the flight, my instructor gave me another long lecture, and graded me a 4/7 this time as a warning, so as not to have any other mistakes the next time round. Well, after this time, i have mixed feeling about this, and with a few of my coursemate also thinking the same thing. Well, I will just have to just go on with it, and hold on to it as long as i can!

One week after school started, my life seems to be running on a routine. Where i head to school following my weekly timetable, and my usual week in week out flight plan by SYFC.

As I'm slightly slower from my other coursemate in SYFC150, so i expected my flight to be planned on the earliest timing they are able to book me in for a flight. And true enough, tomorrow 3rd wave I have a flight planned for my 6th sortie, Climbing & Decending 1.

So far so good, is what I can say for my current lifestyle in Poly second year. Well, things are just going to get more and more, with all the assignments piling up like crazy soon enough. Hopefully i will be able to get in with my class since I have yet to be able to join in together with my class. And as this year have quite a number of mass lectures together with the other classes, i am still closer towards my previous classmates.

Also, there is about 11 weeks left before my driving test, so there is still quite some time to prepare for it. And this term MC list should be out by this week, so just have to sit back and wait for the result to come to me!

So lazy to type anything else, so shall end it here=D!

After a long 3 months holidays, campings and having fun throughout. Finally it is back to school again, with all the long lectures, tutorials and practical lessons we have to attend in my 2nd year of Poly studies.

First week of school is generally quite slack as there are still many administrative stuff to be done, and with some of the lecturers not around in school due to various reasons, causing many lessons to be canceled. Also, we had a whole week of booth for the FO Reunion registration and we had about 110 freshies signing up for the event, number that is more that what we were expecting, as this time we are not sure whether to get so many ppl at East Coast park!

Also, this week only flight I had was on Thursday morning, where i flew my 5th sortie with an RSAF pilot that have joined SYFC not too long ago. Overall, the flight was quite enjoyable and was a great experience to fly with so many different instructors. Although I'm not sure whether its good for me to fly with so many instructor as many will believe that flying your primary instructor will be good!

Current Updates:

Traffic Police Driving License Test: 13 Jul 2007
Poly Yr 2 : Week 2
Spunk Magazine : Design Template
SYFC : 5th Flight
World Skills Competition : N/A for this week~!

Will try to update as often as i can when i get things done~!

Finally, one month after passing my Final Theory Test, i finally managed to get a date from the driving centre for my driving licence.

The test date, that wont change will be on the next Black Friday (13/7/07)!

Counting down the date, i should have about 12 1/2 weeks left before the test date, so I should have ample time to prepare for my test and get prepared for it... Well, currently now listening to some lectures in class while typing this....

SCHOOL STARTED!

After 8 days of break, I've been busy everyday handling school stuff, camps and also my flying course! Overall, the 4 day camp as a Group Leader, was quite a tiring one. Other than that, it was quite an enjoyable experience for me.

As for my flying, at the span of 10 days, i have been planned of a total of 4 times, in which only 1 of it I was able to fly and settle that sortie. While the rest of my course is mostly already at their 6 or 7th sortie, I only managed to finish my 4th one. Well, today also went for simulator where I went to learn most that required and I was happy to be able to land twices, at my stage alone. Of course with quite a few audience behind trying to tell me what to do to ensure nothing goes wrong!

Nothing much to write for now, so I shall end here=D

Today my only activity of the day is flying for my 4th sortie, and tomorrow doing my 5th one to complete the course of 2 flights to sort of catch up with the rest of the group. Somehow, many suddenly got flight planning to push to complete phrase 1, or phrase 2. But den again, the weather set in when we were just about to taxi out of the hanger~!

Sometimes, when the flight is cancelled due to weather, i dont know whether it is a good or bad thing to happen. I guess it gives me more time to prepare on my flight duty, but it also meant that i have miss one chance to clear my flights and to catch up with the rest. Sometimes when the flight is cancelled, I'm either very very confident to fly that i will be willing to fly with any instructor and prove to them that I'm ready~! But there are also time when the flight is cancelled, it was sort of for the better as it gave me a second chance to perform again, to a better performance the next time round~!

Also, after tomorrow, i will be booking in to school to prepare to 0708 FO camp.~! so see ya all soon!

Over and Out!
