Blue Week.

The holidays ended, and its back to school already. I would say that being a final year student compared to maybe a first year students, the workload and requirement is totally different. With just this week, i already submitted 3 assignments, 1 of which i didn't even know about it till the day before.

Life hasn't change much since, with the usual gym session i usually would have with Adrian and maybe with Frendy if he is done with his FYP stuff. Don't why it took me the whole week to end than i decided to write about it, cause throughout the week i always wanted to write some stuff down so its short and sweet for others to read about it also, but maybe i always got lazy in the end and just forget about writing it down.

First, i gotta thank Shawn for helping me out with my PHP assignment, though i still haven't sit down and start learning about it seriously. Either way, i was lucky that u were there to save my ass.

Next, i also gotta thank some of my classmates to help me through this week and reminded me of all the stuff needed to be done as i myself been pre-occupied with gym le.

Alright, somehow i'm lost of what to write so i guess i will end this as quick as possible.

Just some personal reflection and feeling,
I'm beginning to get connected and closer to the Britt Team, that somehow shows the team spirit and cozy-ness that i've been trying to get for the past few years. I am slowly slowly getting out of touch with many things in my life, and even though its been quite a while already, i just can't seem to be able to settle down although it doesn't seem that my life is that bad.

After much thought, i could only conclude that it was my buddies since secondary, brothers from poly, and people that passes by my life that enable me to last till now, though i'm really starting to feel out of the way, i guess i still need to hold on and put up with this for at least the next 8-9 months or so. I'm lost, really lost... maybe i need to search and re-direct my aims and goals of my life.

Nevertheless, i'm still smiling always!! i will always do=)

Alright, took me about 24 hours before i finally set my mind to start writing before i forget stuff that I wanted to write. Before that, maybe i will start of with a picture but i will get back to it slightly later as it happened at the later part of the week.

Punctured Tyre
If you don't know what this picture is, its a punctured tyre from my cute little car.

Let's start off with early this week, i went to school early to submit the loan form for the camera. So after i submitted to comtech in school, i needed to wait till around 2pm before i could collect the camera. Instead of waiting like a fool in school, I decided to finally get my 'breakfast' with chunhui and as she said that its because we met up like around 12, so it isn't breakfast at all, but well the purpose of the meal was kaya toast.

Greedy we were, we order like 3 different types of bread, toast. And although she will be meeting with her friend for a buffet, we still order like we didn't eat bread for a long time. When everything came, we only somehow managed to finish up the French toast which kinda spoil our appetite, though it wasn't proven but both of us just couldn't bring out any space from the stomach to finish up the other two.

After that, head back to school to collect my camera, and just when i was checking the flash light, i realised that comtech doesn't provide batteries to it, and i didn't bring my set of batteries either. So as i didn't want to bring something untested out of comtech, just in case something really happen to it, i needed to have some kind of security regarding the responsibilty of the flash light. Although i gotta admit that on the comtech side they were pretty busy, but i really waited in there for 3 straight hours just for some batteries to come, and in the end even the arrived batteries aren't able to prove the flashlight is working. It was until Leon Chua, my lecturer who came out of his meeting and passed me a set of brand new batteries than i was finally able to get out of school and head to my sister's workplace for the photoshoot. I initally wanted to warp things up by evening, I arrived there at evening instead. Completed my shoot and had dinner with her bf's family at about 8+, den headed home to start editing.

The rest of the other days were mostly heading to school for gym and more gym. =)

I just realise this will be quite a long one, so without further delay i will skip towards Thursday. After gym, as Gavin couldn't contact me since i left my phone in the car while i was gyming, he was at least smart enough to head towards school after work to look for us, and lucky for him, he spotted us around FC5. After resting for a while, we were on our way to Suntec to meet up with Weishan to have our PSP-day where we start a new in the world of Monster Hunter Freedom II Generation. Just as i hit on the expressway of AYE towards Suntec, i somehow felt that the car was very weird, moving at the speed of 60km/h and the car was really vibrating badly. Although i gotta admit that i should have realised it earlier, i actually dragged my precious car along the road for about 1 whole minute. And i was kinda shocked that no other motorist actually saw that or bothered to let me know about it. Although i do understand that we were in the expressway and not many would just suddenly pause half way in the expressway to tell me that i'm having a punctured tyre. And the worst thing is, i just entered the expressway, so there isn't much space i could stop at unless i wanted to cause a jam in the evening when there already is, which is taking up the whole of first lane. I was lucky to be able to spot a divider along the road, and stopped my car immediately, setting up the road condition for an emergency rescue.

It was my first true experience changing tyres, and just to let all those who thinks driving centres actually teaches you everything, YOU'RE SO DAMN WRONG ABOUT IT!!! They only teach u how to drive CAREFULLY, not FIX IT when you have problems. So to all the new drivers all out, PLEASE PLEASE go and learn basic repair and car parts when you finally passed your TP. Don't be a driver that only knows how to drive and get accident, at least be smart enough to know how to simple repairs. BE INDEPENDENT!!!

Regarding the change of tyres, i gotta thank Gavin & Adrian for giving me a helping hand, as you guys were of a great help that i could count on at times like this. Can't really imagine solving the problem myself cause its really WTF that kind. But yeah, we learn as we move on in life eh? so the three of us were professional car mechnic for the day! heh! Met her before we left for Suntec, and was supposed to send her home but she changed her mind last minute. I could only say, you chose the right time to go back by train, but you missed out the fun of actually changing the tyres in the middle of an expressway. How cool is that, right??

Here is the pictures that i could finally take from my handphone when i changed on my new tyres today, so try and see how bad the puncture was.

Didn't have much on Friday except during the evening where I popped by Ryan's house for some PARE learning. Learned quite alot, see quite alot, and fired up quite alot as well. The journey to FF is not going to be easy, but i'm sure i will do just fine=) It's a DONE DEAL!!! Haha!

It's been a while eh? But since you're doing fine on your side, moving on in life, I would wish nothing but everlasting happiness. I actually wanted to write a long long post about it, but somehow now when i'm finally writing it down, i'm lost of words to type it down. Hopefully i was of help in your life, hopefully i was more important in your life, hope is the word i can only think of as i end this lengthy post over here. And yeah, Cheer up Sleepyhead, not sure if you wil read this but i'm so sure you're going to curse and swear at me if you do but yeah..... while i'm going to give my lecturers alot to think about, i believe you can do it too. I will hit my first DIST with this semester left.=)!

What on earth am I doing online and writing an entry at 3.47am. . .

Maybe not really writing an entry cause i'm tired already, so maybe catch me tomorrow for updates=)

Interesting happened along the week. . . Sleep first...

ZzzZzzzzZzzzzZZZzz....

Army Daze.

Hmm, another week just pass me by eh? What have i been busy with this entire week? I think i can only say its down to GYM & SWIM with Adrian. Well, i don't think anyone will be interested with what i do during the gym session right?.. But just for anyone that is even a chance of interest, ITS WORKING OUT WITH WEIGHTS AND MACHINES!! =)

Alright Alright, i guess i will hit back to the main topic of the day, Army Daze.

For the past two weeks of holidays, besides resting, slacking, swimming, gyming, eating and watching tons of movies, I also attended several gatherings of my friends from all over SINGAPORE as they will be enlisting into either parts (either parts means ARMY, AIR FORCE, NAVY, CIVIL DEFENCE, POLICE) of the national service required by all Singaporean guys. Although i'm in my final year of my polytechnic life, so its still about a year or so before i have to worried about my NS life, i can't help but start wondering about my army life.

Before i start to think how to crap about my dream, i will like to wish all my buddies, friends, people from all over Singapore that has either enlisted or about to be enlisted to enjoy their NS life regardless of whatever they have to do for the next 2 years at least.

Although there is still quite some time for me to actually work out and start thinking about what i'm going to do about my army life that will eventually come. As most will have the idea to serve as short as possible, or to try and slip through army as slack as possible, finding any means and way to get out of Operations, Range, Road March, Marathons, or even morning PT. =)

Well, i guess there are also those in the extreme mindset of the army, those power-house human mindset where by they will keep themselves as fit as a fiddle, volunteer for any operations, or anything that the army requires them to do or complete.

After thinking about it, i guess i can't do any of the extreme side. As my dream to be a pilot is still in my mind all this while, i wouldn't want to try to get pass my NS life since to be a pilot i already must be prepared to serve the army for at least 8 years, mentally i think i'm ready, just whether i can take up the oppountity given to me and make full use of it. I would love to soar the skies once a again, to become one of the most outstanding pilot Singapore has ever got. . . well i guess its a dream for me to try and fulfil.. . .. . ..

But before i get to over excited about it, its time to maybe think about my projects and assignments at hand and upcoming ones that will come right after my holidays. . . Rest time is over and its time to rumble once a again.

Cheers!

81st Birthday 2008
Last Saturday, I went to celebrate my grandfather's 81st Birthday at Grassroot Center located at Yio Chu Kang, just beside NYP. Although i already uploaded the pictures the moment i came home, i got lazy throughout the week to actually put it up but since i'm doing it now, as always, its better late than never!! =)

This year was just a simple dinner celebration with the whole family, ended with a happy birthday song and cake right after dessert is served. Hope that my grandfather can stay healthy and happy always as this is the two most important thing i personally believe. Not sure what else i can blog about so i think i will just let the pictures do the talking, slightly more pictures this time round.

Ciao~~

After three days of the holidays have passed, i finally found the right time and place to write a long post with lots of pictures included so yeah, if you're bored as of now, this is the right time to read something here =)

I guess i will start out with last Thursday's DMIT General Meeting. Held at MLT 11 @ 6.30pm with around 100+ attendance inclusive from year 1 - 3. This informal meeting was to allow the new freshies to know more about the club, and what it does as an academic club and of course to let them know the new appointed Main Committee of the Acad Year '0809

As always, there was some minor hiccups here and there before and after the meeting started but i guess everything else went off quite smoothly. Of course things could have done better with more preparation so yeah, its was their first try so i could say it was good job from everyone. Hopefully things will be better after this event!! Now for the pictures to do the talking at the event,

DMIT GM '0809
Shafiq & Timothy giving their presentation

DMIT GM '0809

And that's all folks for now, there are more pictures and more events to cover but i got too lazy to upload and post them up at the moment, but this should be good enough for a quick read=)

Cheerios!
