Weekends.

Days just passes me by quickly that it reaching the end of the week already. While many people are waiting for this day to come, I'm actually having mixed feelings about it. Well, although its the holidays, i'm not actually living it the way i would want to enjoy.

Recently there was this new series showing in cable TV
The Drive of Life 歲月風雲. While it has many meanings behind the show, it really shown many of my personal feelings i experience in the past 2 years.

Here is a short summary of the series,

There were 3 brothers that were born in mainland China. But as a result of the massive political upheaval and the misunderstanding among them, the three of them have fallen out and now live apart in different areas of the world. The only saving grace is that both the eldest and second brother's son was able to put aside their prejudice and reconciled with one another.

And in order to realize a century old dream of the family, they decided to work together to develop the local automobile industry. After many years of struggle, they finally established its own brand of limousine, one that the whole Chinese nation is proud of. They also made significant and ongoing contribution to the China's automobile industry that will take them to a better future.

This is just a short summary of a 60 episode drama series, so i really think many should watch this epic.

Though i don't have such a huge storyline behind mine, but i could really related to the problems that the three brothers faced in the show. While my story is relatively smaller in terms of plot, the relation to the show is almost 100% exact to my story that i could really relate to it. While i'm actually facing the early part of the show, hopefully i will be able to get the final happy ending just like this series though i have to always remember that shows are just shows. When things come to reality, its really different!

Well, i shall end it off with a phrase

~" It was the work of fate that we became brothers, hopefully we will always be."
Ferguson
