********DISCLAIMER******** : Whatever you see here, remains in here! Nuff' Said. . . .
Suddenly don't know where should i start, i guess it is back to my laziness that i actually skipped most of my lessons in school today with handing up my slightly overdue assignment after resting in club for a long long while! I guess it's already over, so tomorrow i will seriously start out my working cap and no more excuses for not attending class or submitting work!!!

Guess i will talk about our first Captain Ball friendly against SMA. Let me just start off like a soccer news you find in any website!!

FIRST LOST AFTER TAKING OVER AS COACH!
written by: Ferguson

Match Details: 6pm, Basketball Court (Singapore Polytechnic)
TEAM SMIT had several injuries before the match. Terence, Xue Jia, Emma & Vice Captain Ryan Choo was ruled out of the match. Team Manager Ferguson is force to pick out from the 2nd string side due to the insufficient places allocated to the 1st team.

The first half started out with TEAM SMA winning the jump ball, and was quickly attacking the defence of TEAM SMIT. TEAM SMA was definitely a much better side in the 1st half, as they were effectively in both attacking and defending against an under performing TEAM SMIT! SMA quickly got into a 6-1 lead close to half-time where they called out time-out to reorganise their tactics to hold up their advantage close the end of the 1st half. Ferguson also had a time-out called near the end of the 1st half to remind his players about the current performances and giving them some hair-drying treatment to prevent anymore loose points!

Half time and the score between the two sides is SMA 12: 8 SMIT.

Ferguson made several changes to the team, including himself into his favourite central position. TEAM SMIT started off very well in the early periods of the 2nd half, going head-to-head against the SMA's defences. Penetrating whenever opportunities arrives, and successfully preventing them from scoring as well. The 2nd period was a much better side from TEAM SMIT, and it was until the closing period of the 2nd half, that we couldn't hold out for at least a draw in the points, giving back some loose ball and finally ended with a score 17-14.

'The name of the game is to win the group and head on to the Championship,' he said.

And Ferguson has not forgotten early exits in the previous two seasons, which is why he is determined the team should maintain their early momentum from today's friendly as they look to do better in the start of intercons starting next week!

Of course I am still confident that my team this year is going to be in the Finals, so watch out everyone! HA
