Red Bull Gives you Wings!
Time flies when you're having fun. How true this statement really is as it's been a full month since I last wrote in an entry. Not that i was that busy till i couldn't come online to blog, was more tired and feeling lazy to write in an entry. Afterall, I'm done with most of my wishlist before graduating from poly, Prep Camp, FO Camp, FO Program and many others that I've done the past two months or so.
Won't be saying much about what's going on, but at least i could say I had no regrets in whatever i've done so far. Completing my wish list for my entire polytechnic life as a camper for FOC was one that i won't forget, though it might have been so much different if i really went to camp with my fellow batch of poly mates. I missed out during my first year of poly, but i won't forget my memories as a Tritons and of course now adding Spongebob in my family tree.
Just finish watching the FA Cup Semi-Final between Manchester & Everton, and while i was just getting back to my seats, i'm indeed susprised that no freshies in my msn list is still awake, or at least even online to start with. Which i could only conclude that everyone is sleeping soundly, preparing for the first day of their poly life. Though i've graduated, but i don't remember sleeping so early when i was waiting for the first day as well. Maybe the secondary school mentality still hasn't changed, but i'm sure things will start to change once school starts.
While i'm waiting for enlistment as the day gets shorter each day, there is just a few more things i have in mind before actually getting in army. Also got to really thank my Sister for giving me so much grace time on her project, though i really want to get it completed ASAP as well, things aren't going the way i would have wanted it to be. Shall not be too lengthy on my post, so i shall just finish this entries with some photos i have, just to summarize my month-long missing entry!

My Chatbox is complaining of being lonely!!!
Tonight yes tonight will be the night where my final result will be out, my final gpa score, the fruit of my 3 years time in polytechnic. Actually there isn't much to be looking out for, since it almost a definite graduation, so it's more of a getting a better score or at least maintaining my current score that i have over the 5 semesters in 3 years.
Just completed a 8 days hard labor stint, which consisted 3 days of graduation showcase, 4 days of IT Fair 1 sport days with the graduation showcase committee so currently resting at home trying to write an entry out before going out later.
Although i brought my camera every other day at the graduation showcase, but it's either i was too busy to remember that i actually brought it, or i was too lazy to take pictures. Either way, there were a lot of them posted on facebook, so maybe i will just take some and upload it up later in the next entry. Overall, I will say that the whole graduation committee did a very good job, so hopefully everyone enjoyed themselves in the last, short 3 days we DDM had as a whole since year 1. Would really like to take this post and tell everyone that was involved in the show, whether comm members or not, for all their patience and enthusiasm about the showcase. Maybe i will also just extend my thanks to my mum and sister for coming all the way up there for my showcase after a tired day's work! Hope you have an idea of what i'm doing in school for the past 3 years in a clearer view!
Immediately after that, the next very morning i had to go back to the gallery to help out in the logistics team in the clearing up and getting it ready back to school. Once most of the stuff were taken care off, i went off to the Suntec IT Show to work for another 9 hours or so. Working in this IT Show meant the first time working in an IT Show. Well, the experience was quite good overall, besides more tired legs due to the long standing hours, but at least i got to know more people outside my comfort circle, not many though as most of them working with me are mostly my friends that i already known. Even my partner at work for the first days was my fellow schoolmate studying in the same course as me. Not sure if i will still work for another one, it will really depends on the situation and whether am i really in need of that? Though i know most of the tricks that will happen in the show, but somehow at least after this working experience, i learn many more tricks and how most companies will use IT show as a platform to attract consumers for some cheap and "good" deals, while they will be able to prepare for the next showcase of their latest products once the consumer clear most of their 'unwanted' stock! Well, since they didn't point a gun to get them to buy, so as long as you're the willing party, you can't blame this realistic world you're living in.
Since I have this blogging mood today, so i guess i will type a more lengthy post than expected.
DMIT CLUB was my one and only CCA that i had in my 3 years poly life. All of my memories, good and bad of my polytechnic life, majority came from this place. This special place that still holds an important place in my heart. Although I'm officially 'retired' from club duties after my final event, this special place that used to be my 2nd home with many others, now it seems like a junk room where it's filled with junks or people that doesn't have any high regard about club at all. Although i'm graduating this year, my only hope besides graduating with pride, i will also hope to leave with a peace of mind that the club is doing well. I gave up many things for the club before, so although i know I have already let go, i just hope everyone and everything inside the club will go on for a long long time.
What's next in my life. . . .
is it finding a full time job for the next 3 months? . . .
is it finally getting over you? . . .
is it gaining back the superiority i used to have . . .
is it getting a new life, with a new style? . . .
is it finding a new special someone to spend my life with. . .
is it going to commandos the only option left? . . .
is it getting my life back!? . . .
this list goes on so much that i'm quite tired about it. I know i should be doing something, yet i just can't find this energy in me. I used to think that i'm stronger than what i am now. Look at me, I'm so wrong. . . Everything seems wrong after that day, that very hour, that minute, where that energy in me disappeared!
Currently working in the IT Show for the next 2 days, after one whole week of tired-ness... so will more likely update a new entry on Monday!!
Sorry for the late entries!!!
Alright, as the title shows, this true story happened during Hitler's monarchy of Germany many years ago. There were many people in the upper ranks of Germany Army conspire to assassinate Hitler, overthrowing the current government while replacing it with another one that will attempt to make peace with the allies they were currently at war with.
Operation Valkyrie was a contingency plan to mobilize the German Reserve Army in events of internal disturbance or national emergency.
In the story, COL Stauffenberg, acted by Tom Cruise rewrites Operation Valkyrie to carry out a coup d'etat in attempt to replace Hitler's government in Germany by taking control of Berlin, the Heart of Germany.
The plan was carried out by many high ranking officials, with COL Stauffenberg taking the lead of the plan by planting one of the two bombs, in attempt to assassinate Hitler in a meeting. For more information, I do recommend you to watch this movie, especially if you're someone that loves History during Secondary School or just happen to be interested in Germany's History. This show is a MUST WATCH as well!!
In short, i can only say the plan thought of by COL Stauffenberg was close to flawless, if only everyone in the group trusted in his judgment preventing all the delays, the plan might just pull off and successfully take control of Hitler's government in Berlin! But of course, if you really did listen during History lessons, you will know that Hitler didn't die from any assassination, but died from suicide after the allies conquered into Germany.
After lazing for a few days, I went to catch another movie with a few long time friends since Secondary School. So might as well just put it together since i'm doing it!
Initially, the plan was to watch Role Models, another movie that is also currently showing, but since I already got the DVD version at home, so we decided to watch something else instead, and since none of them watch this other show, He's Just Not That Into You.
This show belongs to the Love Comedy genre i would believe so. In this story, a group of twenty- and thirty somethings navigate their various relationship from dating couples, married couples and those trying to read the signs of the opposite sex, hoping to be the exception in the no-exception rule.
By watching this, it was supposed to be able to help many Singles in this world solve many mysteries, and understand the opposite gender better through the different scenario and examples displayed in the movie. Personally, as most of them are based from true life experiences, so it actually seemed very similar to what I have been through, although not all ended up the same way cause different people react differently in different situation, thus causing different effects. Hopefully it wasn't too hard to understand, so why not catch this movie as well if you have an itch to catch some comedy.
I hope i don't turn my blog into some Movie review entry, so hopefully i will be able to write up more interesting things happening in my life!! Wish me luck!
Who wants to be a millionaire?
It was just probably a year or two ago that this reality show was a hit in the US, and later on spread to the rest of the world! Just went to watch this new hit movie, Slumdog Millionaire with my parents. Before i went to watch the movie, i was watching the Academy Awards on TV, and it's shouldn't be surprising to see this movie basically sweeping majority of the awards. Something that should be a definite MUST watch.
A short brief on the show for those who have yet watch, the story talks about two young boy living in the slums with their mother. Also shows the poor living & education condition over there as well. The story continues after the mother was killed and how they escaped the killing, along with a girl who managed to keep up with them. They were soon 'rescued' from an organization that uses children, especially disabling them to generate more income. It was until the head of the organization decided to disable the younger brother, when the elder brother made an escape along with the younger brother.
The movie also show a several scenes of the reality hit, Who wants to be a millionaire?! The main actor was brought to the police station for "cheating" in this reality show, as he was just an eighteen year old without any former education.
When he got the 1 million rupees question correct, i thought the show ended so fast until i realised that the show is until 20 million rupees. I supposed majority of the people who watch it will agree with me in this statement!
Overall it was proven he got all the answers correct by himself, due to the many experiences he had to endure in his life living in the slums. Even at one point when the host gave him an answer for the question that he didn't know of at the break, he didn't believe him and decided to take the risk against the answer provided by the host. Although it was also down to luck, but it was really smart of him to trust no one in that moment! All the transition in the show was great, including the songs played!
The show definitely deserved all awards won in the Academy Awards!! I would give it a 9/10 rating for the show! A MUST WATCH!!

This entry was supposed to be published much much earlier but due to my laziness part of me so had to be delayed till now.
Last Wednesday early morning was my Final Year Project Final presentation, in another words it means Judgement Day thus the title Judgement. Our group was the first to present, so had to wake up early and prepare. Anyway, was suppose to be expecting our clients from SAA department to join in the presentation but in the end none of them came, so there were just the four judges that was allocated by our school. Anyway, i shan't go too much into the details of the presentation and will just say briefly on how i feel about it.
Judging Room
If it's just talking about the presentation, it went on pretty smoothly and being the first group to be assessed by the judges, i could say we gave them a good impression of our project and progress. Even in the product demo, we managed to pull off a good demo for them to view and hopefully able to impress them. Our group consisted of four of us, three being the designer and me the only one as the programmer, able to pull this project off, i hope the judges can take this into consideration. Now that it's all over other than the Gradshow that will be coming up on March at Old School, more details will be out later in this entry. I shall just give some impression on my teammates here, as least its some truthful words from me whether they will read it or like it even if they do happen to read this entry.

Shi Nengyi (Project Leader):
Being group members for two years already, i guess all about your working style or personality i will already know about them i dare to say. Even your working standard and abilities, i could say i know all about them already. I should say i did regret coming in together as FYP groupmates at the start, but week after week of project work, maybe i should say i'm lucky that i'm in this group working in this project. All my late-comings, and MIA for the full three weeks during the holidays, you managed to get the team going on despite my absences in the programming area. Not that there was alot of progress though, but never mind la!! It's all over le!!
Team iMob
Samuel Chia (Creative Director/ Asst. Leader):
Though this project was the first time doing project work with you. I was glad to be able to work with you in this project. Though you were never the offical Creative Director, but i guess since most of the design work were done beautifully by you, plus all the work and effort you put in for this project, you definately deserve this position. Though i don't know how you think about me, personality and working abilities but even though we always seems to be quarrelling over nothing and me always seem to be bullying you like that, i hope you don't take it to heart and hopefully we will still be friends after this project unlike what we both said after the final presentation. Doubt anyone else but you will know what the hell i'm talking about here!! Hahahahah!
Lim Hongda (Designer):
This project was also my first time working together with you. Well, can't say that we were closer than just groupmates or gaming exchange friend, at least throughout this 18 weeks I got to know better of you. Sometimes, I admit that I am slacking during project time, but though you didn't complain about me i would like to say that being the only programmer wasn't an easy job. While most of you sleep early, or spend the time after project work playing games, i dare to say i was working on the project at home. Sometimes even to wee hours early in the morning, and had to wake up in the morning just to meet you guys up. After a few times, i thought it would be better if I had more rest and sleep so went i meet you guys in school, i would have more energy to do my work. I guess that's all except that maybe when the 4 colors production people come, you will be forced to listen to your darling complain everything about me! Well, since it's every bad i guess it's okay. LOLx

Family Picture with many people missing. . .
Last Saturday, had a farewell gathering at Pine Grove for my younger cousin that will be heading Australia for further studies. And if I didn't remember wrongly, the course is about speech therapy so I will wish her all the best in her studies there, and of course enjoy herself throughout the journey there as well!!
Also, my other two cousins did up a video photo gallery for everyone to see, before i went on to show mine for the Hainan Trip our family last went together. Had to work on my FYP for the past few weeks after we come back, so somehow managed to rush it out in 2 hours before going there. Judging the time spent on doing it, it's good enough for viewing pleasure at the very least!!
Alright, just display the rest of the photos taken.
First two pictures taken by me, without me of course!!
Another picture taken with me inside now!
Taken by me when everyone was getting ready!!
